Multi – award winning Elephant Sessions, from the Highlands of Scotland, have exploded onto the indie folk scene with unparalleled effect. Their live appearances include some of the most notable venues and festivals across the U.K, Europe and Australia, including Glastonbury, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Colours of Ostrava and multiple sell – outs at Celtic Connections.

With audiences crowdsurfing their way through the summer, marquee floors breaking under the weight of bouncing fans, the band’s live shows have won audiences across the globe. Mercury prize winning band alt – J, along with BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6, found themselves converted to Elephant Sessions ’ unique brand of indie folk.

Reviews from Rolling Stone sit alongside folk magazine cove rage, whilst radio features accompanied documentaries and highlights shows on television. The band scooped the coveted BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards Album of the Year for All We Have is Now , received a nomination for Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and won Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Awards in 2018.

They closed 2019 with sold out shows across Scotland before heading back to Australia, to the Woodford Folk Festival to bring in the New Year. With plans to make their debut visits to Borneo and China in 2020, most of their busy summer will now take place in 2021.
