A founding partner of Global Music Match, Showcase Scotland Expo exists to further the live export opportunities and international career development for artists based in Scotland, working in the genres of folk, traditional, Gaelic, Scots, world, roots and acoustic music.

Through partnerships with overseas showcase trade events, as well as leading folk and roots festivals worldwide, SSE creates meaningful opportunities for Scottish artists amongst both industry and audiences.

Showcase Scotland Expo are also producers of The Visit, an inbound trade mission for the international industry, which targets industry in key markets worldwide to visit Scotland and see our artists live, engage with them in their home territories, and meet the wider Scottish music industry to develop further opportunities for the wider sector.

Showcase Scotland Expo is funded by Creative Scotland, and works with further national and local authorities throughout Scotland to deliver its programme of events.
